How to change date of guestbook entries?

We like your guestbook very much.
But we have the following problem:

We wanna transfer guestbook entries from an old guestbook.
So we need to change the date of items.
But I neither find settings for changing dates nor to establish items in backend.

Any ideas (because I think my case is not that rare)?

Hi, I think this needs to be done directly in the database, e.g. with help of phpMyAdmin

Yea, I did exactly the same - as Jan said via the database - and it works perfect. Theres is no need for converting dates into the timestamp-format.
