Plugin sh404SEF

What will this sh404sef plugin do? I have the problem that i don't see url like /my-guestbook.html
Now i see /2.html (2 is the ItemID) Not so nice. And with the default sh404sef settings i get no pagination in the GB.
Pagination only works when you select (phocaguestbook) Nocache in the component tab?

Please provide me the information about this plugin and why it's beter to use

Hi, it seems some time has passed and I was hoping that the captcha issue is fixed with the sh404sef extension contributed by the original poster?

On this site I found a plugin for sh404SEF.

It works like a charm, only the captcha is not showing.
When I remove the file, the search friendly url keeps showing.

Which file do you remove? Does the captcha work in the end?

I don't change anything in code. But I rename one of duplicated autocreated SEF link with "phocaguestbooki". After this all work fine=))

Does this mean that the only way to get phocaguestbook captcha to work with sh404 is to name the link
"phocaguestbooki".

I have my link named as testimonials.php and really cannot change it, as the client would not be too pleased.

There is no way to have the captcha image show up if the link name is 'testimonials'?

I use phocaguestbook 1.4.0 but cannot get the name of the guestbook in the sef translated url.
Where can i get a correct plugin for sh404sef?

Hi, sorry I don't have any experience with sh404SEF, maybe you should ask on sh404 if there is some plugin for Phoca Guestbook.

Hello,

There is no need to manually changing the code of Phoca Guestbook or making some configuration changes JRoute<->JHTML.
The original code that generates the Captcha Image is ok.

You need only the fixed sh404SEF plugin, based on Jagwar77 first version.
This new 1.4.2 version will probably work with the old guestbook versions too.
