Hello all,
I got a security problem.
The files are protected by "geregistreerd" (not public)
But when I give someone a direct link "http://www.move4u.info/phocadownload/....pdf"
that person don't have to log in!!!
So the file is not protected!!
What did I do wrong?
groetjes Kees

Re: download protection
Hi, yes, of course if you give someone a direct link to your ftp where the file is located, then it can be accessible.
For such case you can use the specific path - e.g. outside the public_html. You will create a folder outside the public_html folder and there you will upload your files, you will set this folder to Phoca Download Settings and then such files are not accessible through direct link and of course they cannot be found e.g. by robots, etc.
