Display Inaccessible File does not work with plugin?

Display Inaccessible File does not work with plugin?
Is it true that if using the content plugin, that the Display Inaccessible File checkbox has no effect? I check the box, and the download link and icon still appear... It's not a big deal. I think I can use the HIDER plugin to display a message to unregistered users that will display above the download link...

Hi, if you select the file then it is displayed there. You can customize the sql query in the plugin to your own behaviour (accept or not accept the clauses of component)
