email on user download

Hi
Is it possible to configure sending one or more emails (say 2 but one to the downloader and one to the joomla admin) when a download is made?

email #1: In my application a download often means a sale or customer interaction coming - so it's a nice heads up.

email #2: It would be nice to send a post download email to the downloader - hi thanks for downloading etc
