File Extension

Hi,

I have files with a .mht extension that opens in your browser when selected.

The problem is that when it opens, it opens in the website browser window, I would like it to open in a new browser tab or browser window

Any suggestions on the syntax.

Hi, sorry I don't understand, this depends on your OS where will be different files opened?

Hi,

When I view my site, all the pages and links open in the same browser window.

So, when I use Phoca download, and I slect one of the links related to a word document, it opens word outside my site as a seperate instance.

Because .mht files uses a browser window to display its contents, I dont want it to use my current browser window but open a new browser window to display its content, very much like _blank. My site must still show the Phoca Download page, and when I select .mht link, it must be a new Browser window or browser tab to display the contents of the .mht file.

Its like when you left mouse click on the link, it opens in the current browser window, if you right mouse click, the popup says do you want to open in new tab or new window. This is where I want the the left mouse click default to be 'open in new tab' or 'new window' when you left click on the link.

Hi, maybe you can try to use the external link (but to internal file and set it as _blank)
