Limit Number of Subcategories Displayed Per Page

Hi there are two ways of setting things in Joomla: in the global configuration and in the menu links parameters (which override the global configuration), try both this settings.

Same problem for me… I have 2.6.2 installed on J!1.5.15

Two principal catégories Ladies and Gentleman with a lot of categories inside each

My menus goes to catégorie Ladies or Gentleman

Filter is right in children catégories http://www.agence-privilege.com/index.p ... 88&lang=en for example but not in top level categories http://www.agence-privilege.com/index.p ... 88&lang=en

It seems it is not possible to filter categories with Phoca Gallery, but only pictures.

Hi, you can make pagination for categories and images, see:

Parameters Component (setting the pagination values) in menu link to gallery and Parameters Basic (enabling the pagination), see:

It is incredible, tried to overide component parameters… nothing

But when clicking subcategorie it works for images in the categorie

Need help do you want an admin acces to see ?

Try to check your joomfish - menu link to gallery in joomfish too, as there are parameters too, see this information at tha bottom:

i have the same problem, dear Jan!

pagination works excellent for Categories View Settings (List of Categories) and for Category View Settings (List of Images) but NOT for Category View Settings (Categories above Images) (where we can see list of subcategories)

problem isn't in joomfish for sure. seems Category View Settings (Categories above Images) doesn't use pagination at all.

please advice or help!!!

Hi, yes the pagination for categories views in category view doesn't work. You cannot run two paginations on the site, so on the site the image pagination is running (in category view) so categories view in category view pagination cannot be used there )

It seems you have t work on this option on next release (choose pagination type between categories or images) or on a hack cause we probably are a lot of phoca user to need it

no, no, i don't need 2 pagination... i just would like to have pagination in all views. and now i can't see (i can't set) pagination for subcategories..

so, categories with pagination, images with pagination, but subcategories - without... that's the question, dear Jan.

can you help with it? i check every setting, nothing works... and as i see, not only i...

Hi you can display category pagination in categories view - but not in category view - and in category view there you can display subcategories. But because in category view there is an image pagination, no pagination for categories can be created.
