Log date and time!?

Post by Webbi »

Hi,

is it possible to log date and time of an item? IP address is logged and shown in the backend. It would be fine to log date and time too. So it would be possible to get the name of the user who made the entry. We needed this some times because we had some bad entries and had to go to police. Date, time should only displayed in backend.

Is this possible?

Best regards

Hi,

date and time is logged in the database, and it is displayed at the frontend, but not in the backend when viewing the single item.

Hello,

thank you. Date in the frontend I have seen now, but time still not.

It is possible to show it in the backend when viewing the single item?

Hi,

you are right - only the date is shown in the frontend by default, but both date and time is logged. To also display the time in the frontend you need to change the code, what's also necessary to display date/time in the backend.

Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't, 'cause I didn't develop anything in Phoca - but probably Jan can help here.
