No pages to select

Hello

I installed the guestbook and it works great. But there are about 40 entries and i set the guestbook to show 10 per page. But there are no other pages i could select at the bottom of the page. I know that i have to configure it in the menue entry on the right (global parameters?). But it doesnt show up. Everything is set to "show" (german version). Seitenzahlen (pages?), Anzeige (?) and Feedlink are all set to show. But it still doesnt work.

More to say, i wrote the guestbook entries direct to the mysql database because there where old entries from the old website i wanted to keep for the new page. Hope there are no parameters for the entries where i had to set the page the entry has to appear on or things like that.

what i recognized just now: when i try to edit the guestbook, not the entries, he says the guestbook is edited atm by somebody else. Cant be, i am the only one logged on.

Hi, parameters basic is not parameters component. Did you check the basic?

I DID IT!!

For all with the same problem, ill explain it so nobody will do that stupid mistake again:

on my site is a costum flash menue i created where i had to enter all the links one by one. At the start i created the entry in the joomla menue module to get the link to the guestbook. It shows the link imidiatly under the menue entry name after i select the menue type phoca guestbook. But in this field the ending &Itemid=xx wasnt shown i guess. I copied this link to my flashmenue so he just showed the guestbook without the parameters i've set in the menue entry wich gets a id wich is written at the end of the link. I had:

http://partyband-comeback.de/index.php? ... tbook&id=1
at the start wich just showed the guestbook without page numbers. Now it is
http://partyband-comeback.de/index.php? ... &Itemid=25
and it works fine with all settings i did in the entry.
