jcomments and phocagallery

hi

using jcomments with phocagallery, i have few small problems

how do you remove little Comments panel (icon and comments text) above comments,
this seems to be a leftover from phoca , i.e. there is already a comments title above
comments from Jcomments component, so it is doubled, and they look ugly together one above the other,



also in IE 6 whole comments area is moved to the right by 30 px or so
and it moved my right column under the comments and maincontent area

comments are under the thumb list (category view) in my galleries

this only happens if i display galleries thru menu link i.e. menu item linked directly to phoca gallery

if i call an article with phoca plugin displaying category within the article comments are shown ok WITHOUT
doubled comments title (without title leftover from phoca) and IE 6 problem disappears
i.e. comments are not moved to the right

so i have to call my galleris thru articles using phoca plugin otherwise it does not look good


can anyone point me in the right direction here

ok here are the screenshots:

screenshot 1 - problem (category called thru menu link)

screenshot 2 - no problem (category called thru plugin within article)



anyone has any clue as to what could cause this, ??
doubled Comments tab occurs even in the default joomla 1.5 template (rhuk_milkway)
the movement of the comments area to the right occurs in default joomla 1.5 template (rhuk_milkway) as well,
altough the right column modules are not moved under the comments in IE6 , i.e. but still the comments area
is moved to the right overlapping the content of right column,
so it is a phoca comments problem maybe ???

this is preventing me from calling categories (with Jcomments) thru menu links,
it is nothing critical but still a bug of some sort )

i should also say that none of this is happening with phoca built in comment system,
but it does not let unregistered users leave comments , i.e. that is the only reason im
trying to use Jcomments and not the built in phoca comments

any help is highly appreciated here thanks

Hi, maybe there can be some conflict between the phoca gallery and jcomments css. I have checked it and found no problems there on my test server (there were some conflict by these I have fixed in previous versions) (https://www.phoca.cz/demo/external-category-comments)

im using 2.6.1 version of phocagallery and jcomments version 2.1.0

Did you try to use the latest Phoca Gallery version?

i have tried upgrading phoca gallery to latest version, changing templates, upgrading jcomments to latest version
but still nothing, i.e. i get the same thing as described and shown in screenshots in my previous posts

No idea what can be wrong there, seems like some other javascript library is in conflict but which

the first "Comments" text in the tab above comments is displayed first by phoca, and then again the "Comments" text above comments is displayed by jcomments, with plugin it is only displayed by jcomments and not phoca, now i want to remove this doubling, i.e. where in the code can i tell the phoca gallery not to display this tab , or at least where can i change its look (css) so it matches the rest of my template (or jcomments look), (gray sort of colours like in my screenshots in above posts)
