feature request - preview pic for each category

Hello there,
I am using phoca gallery for one of my sites - and it's great!

It would be nice if there was a preview picture (thumbnail) for each category at the "main" phoca page. It could be a random picture or a user-selected picture.

This really encourages people to click on each category.

Can I upgrade to this new version without losing my photos, categories etc?

If you uninstall the old Phoca Gallery, only:

- categories will be there
- images on the server disc will be there

but all data from database will be lost...

You must copy all new Phoca Gallery files via FTP if you want to upgrade...

I want to add upgrade script, but I must still wait, because Joomla! 1.5 is still changing (it is still in beta)

However, this makes upgrading very very difficult.

Maybe it would be better if uninstallation did not erase database data and new version install imported it?

If somebody wants to uninstall Phoca Gallery (not reinstall), Phoca Gallery must remove all own data (Phoca Gallery is not W.....s software which leaves disorder on your disc (database) after uninstallation process ). I want to do a uninstall script - If you will uninstall Phoca Gallery you can decide if you want to remove all Phoca Gallery data (uninstall) or not (reinstall) ...
