slideshow plugin doesnt work on ie and border

First of all, congrats on the great joomla extensions,
I am trying to set up the slideshow plugin but i got two problems. First one is : it doesnt work on internet explorer 6 (or any other ie version?) but it does on chrome and firefox. Here's the difference:
on ie6 and on chrome :
No image on ie. Anyone knows what i might be doing wrong?
Next problem is : i want to get rid off the white border and cant find a parameter to alter border size. I know its possible because the example on the demosite has no border. this is the code i use in an article

Hi,

please try it too with the rhuk_milkyway template, to see if the problem is the template or the phoca slideshow plugin.

thanks for replying. Using the rhuk_milkyway template did solve the IE issue. The slideshow now also works on IE6. Any idea what might be wrong with the template? I'm using this one : http://www.freejoomlatemplatez.com/anim ... pagei.html or how to fix it? Or is your advice to just use another template.
Should this also have solved my border issue? It's not easy to sea a white border on a white background on the milkyway template
So i tried using another template with a black background that does display the slideshow on ie but I still see the white border there, however now theres only a left and right border, no top and bottom. Strangeness....

Hey, I have the same problem here. works perfect with firefox, chrome, ie8, but not with ie6.

it's because of some template reason, works fine with standard joomla templates in ie6.

my problem is that i couldnt find the reason in my template to fix it.
