Popup view - going forward and backward

Post by Ronny »

Hi Jan,

first I want to thank you for the great work you've done with Phoca Gallery and all the other Joomla components!

A question where I couldn't find an answer in the forum: I have loaded a lot of pictures into one category. These pictures should be displayed in several pages using the Phoca Gallery Plugin - but on each page only a defined number of pictures (e. g. pic 1 to 3 on first page, pic 4 to 14 on second page and so on). This is working for the thumbnails using parameters "limitstart" and "limitcount", but if viewing the pictures in the popup window you can go forward or backward through all the pictures, not only those which are displayed as thumbnails. Is there any way to limit the popup view also to the amount of pictures displayed as thumbnails?

Thanks a lot!

Regards,
Ronny

Hi, this depends on method you are using for detail window.

Modal box (iframe) - you can go to all images in the category*
Modal box (only image) - you can display only one image
Highslide JS(iframe) - you can go to all images in the category*
Highslide JS (only image) - you can display only images which are displayed in article (on the current site)
Shadowbox - you can display only images which are displayed in article (on the current site)
JAK vertical - you can display only images which are displayed in article (on the current site)
JAK horizontal - you can display only images which are displayed in article (on the current site)
Javascript Popup - you can go to all images in the category*
No Popup - you can go to all images in the category*

* if the buttons are enabled.

Jan, thanks for your answer.

I would really like to use HighSlide JS (image only) or Shadowbox - but for both I have problems displaying the image description (have to search if there is already a solution posted regarding this here in the forum). And the watermark issue I've posted here... Thanks anyway! :)

Yes, thanks, I've finally managed it after reading this thread. Now the images look as I want it to be using HighSlide JS :)

Best regards,
