Help me with .rar

I have spent about 2 hours between this forum and google trying to figure out how to use rar files in Phoca Download. I have added what I found on this forum as mime types and it still does not work. I really need this if it is possible. Thanks

I change some settings and now I get this error ..... This file type is not supported (or there are some restrictions on the server).

I need to be able to put either .rar or .zip on my server using Phoca.

I am hosting this server myself, I am running Joomla on IIS6 through Server 2003 R2

Hi, check if mime type of rar is set in your Phoca Download Settings and check your server settings, maybe there are some restrictions.

I have added file type or mime to the settings, I have3 went as far as to allow full access to my server and I get that file type not allowed. Could you maybe give me some idea of what the mime or settings maybe for Winrar or .zip files. I have really researched this without a solutions.

Thanks Jan for your help, I know how busy you must be. Everyones time is precious and valuable even mine. I apprecte your programs they are great. There are special individuals in this world that donate and donate to make things better and you are in the top of that list. The zip worked but the rar didn't but all I needed was one of them not both so I am thrilled. I am going to vist this site often and try to help where I can in return for all your help and programming.
