Hi All,
Firstly a big thankyou to all the deelopers - the entire phoca suite is most impressive. I'm finding phoca download particularly useful in building up the documentation for a charity I'm volunteering for.
I have a question. Originally I was planning to use phoca documentation, but have since decided that Download better suits our needs.
I have a large collection of pdfs and joomla articles which I wish to construct into a User Manual of sorts. From my current understanding the Joomla articles are better suited to Phoca Documentation and the pdfs to Phoca Download.
Is there anyway of presenting Joomla articles as files in Phoca Download? Obviously I could take the content and create a pdf, but there's a considerable amount of material which will need updating on a reasonably regular basis so I was hoping to retain them as articles.
Thanks in advance for any help and thanks again for all the good work!
Paul Hughes

Re: Articles as files in Phoca Download?
Hi, Phoca Download and Phoca Documentation are different components.
Phoca Download is a download component where you can download all possible documents. And Phoca Documentation displays sections and categories of your article sections and categories. So you can use both to display articles on your site and to download them or other by Phoca Download.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for the reply.
If I follow what you mean then it's only possible to have a menu button which links to phoca Download and a menu item which links to Phoca Documentation (i.e. seperatly) and there is no way to have a single layout which shows both items from phoca Download and from phoca documentation?
Kind regards,
Paul Hughes
