Phoca Download Plugin and the remote files

I added a file with external URL Link to the Phoca Download component. Then I inserted this file into an article using the Phoca Download Plugin. When I clicked the link on the front-end, a Not Found error was the result (The requested URL ... was not found on this server).

Would it be possible to add the support for the remote files download via the plugin?

Jan, it happened on a Wampserver 2 localhost, so I can't provide you the URL of a live site.
