Filedownload with SEO and hidden menu

Hi,
is there a way to display the download file item without having an accessible menu?
I installed the plugin and everything works fine when I have SEO off or a visible menu link, as recommended.

But I don't want to display a menu link and would like to use SEO. Is there a solution to get both work together?

Hi, no. Because SEO (SEF) works only with created menu link. If you want to use SEF you need to create menu link to the component. If you want to not display this menu link, just add it to some menu group which you then will unpublish. The menu item will exists (needed for SEF) but it will be not displayed, see:
