Dynamically pull in individual files based on a Catagory ID?

Great Download Plugin!

I'm curious, however, if it's possible to incorporate some kind of code similar to the plugin syntax, for example:
{phocadownload view=category|id=35|target=b}

...but have it such that individual files within that category are dynamically listed inside the article, rather than just a link to a separate page with the files listed?

I'm aware of the file display code for example: {phocadownload view=file|id=280}
But it would be very cool to just list the files dynamically inside the article itself.
