Error downloading flv files

I've added the mime type {flv=video/x-flv} in the settings, but my phoco installation gives me error while downloading file for any flv content.
It works fine with a text document and I will upload and test it with other video formats to see what happens, but is there a reason I can't download flv files please?

Hi, if you have added it into settings, try to check permissions on your server (maybe there is some security settings) and try to find other mime type (maybe there exists some other)...

The permissions on the server for the video files are 655 (the folder they are in is 755)

I can't find any other restrictions on the server - the video files are large, but I am not worried about uploads as I do that by ftp, it is the downloading of any video format that is not happening for me

I've tried flv, which will stream fine in a page, but won't download with Phoca; mp4, wmv, mov all giving me error downloading file

I'd really like to get this working as it seems to offer exactly what I need to offer people different file types according to their needs in terms of downloadable video

Hi, I know some users had problems with downloading large files, because on their server there were some security settings (I think, it was IIS) and it was set by server administrator. Downloading of large file was not permitted there

I see you added {flv=video/x-flv} to the latest version of PhocaDownloads, but that seems not to be causing the problem.
I uploaded some wmv-files using FTP and I added download records for them. They all appear nice in the client, but when trying to download one, the user gets an error: "Error downloading file (Mime type not found)"

Do I need to add something similar for wmv-files in the settings? If yes, what?

I don't think its caused by some server setting, because using RokDownloads it works like a charm - also for wmv-files.
(But I'd rather use Phoca )

Hi, try to check the settings (settings of mime types) there are only examples of mime types, so some must be added manually. Check the wmv.
