breaking XHTML validness

Post by DanielT »

Hi,

first off, very nice, clean and easy to configure guestbook, congrats on that and my thanks for making this.

there is an ID in the component that breaks my XHTMl validness: phocaguestbook jpane-toggler-down

Markup Validation Service about this:
This attribute can not take a space-separated list of words as a value, but only one word ("token"). This may also be caused by the use of a space for the value of an attribute which does not permit it.

hi,

wanted to ask if you could now release a new version (also if it's only beta) with the fix - my whole site is valid - except the guestbook. The rest is fine - but after almost a year since last version, I hoped to get that fixed if possible!

Thanks a lot!

Hi, I didn't find the time for releasing the next release yet :( (as I am not able to answering all the posts in the forum)

Is the XHTML validity imporant for something?

not it's not sooooooooooooooooooooooo important - just made my site valid and i always get reminded by firefox addon that this site is not valid - just thought that it's a small thing to change - I know, i'm somehow a perfectionist ;)

Yes I appreciate this and fully understand, the problem is my time, so can try to change it here for now:
components\com_phocaguestbook\views\phocaguestbook\tmpl\default.php

line 190+
