Helo,
I have a problem. I´m new in Joomla and want to use Phoca Download.
Due to some problems I had installed Phoca Download manually.
I copied the files via FTP on the Server. After that I added the tables via phpmyadmin.
After this I thought Phoca Download is ready to use but I couldn´t find Phoca Download in the Admin Panel.
So I startet over the Extension Menü - Install the file : install.phocadownload.php
A Wizard has opened and I could install the Phoca Download.
Now I have Phoca Download in the Components menu.
So I made some Categories and uploaded a File.
After this I put the this code in the article: {phocadownload view=file|id=1}
But the only thing I see on the Page is the code "{phocadownload view=file|id=1}".
But I have no idea what´s wrong?
Have you any suggestions?
Greetings
JayJay82

OK, I found the problem.
The Plugin doesn´t appear in the Plugin-Manager, so I´m not able to active it.

Re: Code instead of Download
Hi,
yes I made the installation like there described. The normal installation hadn´t worked.
So I made both, first I copy the files via FTP to the server as described on the right side.
After that I created the tables, like described on the left side.
After that nothing happened so I called the install.phocadownload.php file (Install from directory) which I haved copied in /tmp before.
After this the "Setup Screen" appeared which asked me if I want to install or upgrade. I choosed to install and after that I had the Menu to create Categories etc. and upload files.
