Hi,
To install "Joomfish files for PhocaGallery 2" (2.2.4 too..) you need to :
- download the file https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/1 ... n&start=20
-extract the 2 files ( phocagallery.xml and phocagallery_categories.xml) from the zip somewhere in your harddrive
-upload them in ...../administrator/components/com_joomfish/contentelements/
then you can choose what to translate in Joomfish translations menu
enjoy
(and thank you Jan

Re: Joomfish and Phoca Gallery 2.2.2 Beta
Hi, I got the same problem here.
I use Phocagallery 2.5.8 with Joomfish 2.04
The Categories and images are translating fine, thanks to the tip in this topic.
But I am still having problems with the phocagalleries menu item:
Each time I try saving the translation I've been thrown out of Joomla.
Is there already a solution for this problem?

Hi, the menu item translation doesn't use Phoca Gallery files, did you ask on Joom!fish forum too?

Re: Joomfish and Phoca Gallery 2.2.2 Beta
Hi Jan,
Sorry I come back on this so late. I was to busy with other assignments so I did not found the time to have a look at this problem earlier. Yes I asked on the Joomfish forum, but at thi time with no succes. I just installed the latest version of Phoca Gallery but it didn't solve the problem.
On the other hand, I did install both components (Phoca Gallery and Joomfish) on my local computer and did not have any problems at all. So I think it must have some thing tot to with user assignments or rights. Any ideas?
thanks,
Bart

No idea there, maybe try to check permissions and ownership of files and folders (I think, this will be not a problem as functionality should not depend on this, but try to do), try to check the environment of your localhost and server, maybe php version?

Hi, I think not, as if this problem is caused in Menu Manager (or Joomfish) while saving menu items (menu items are not a part of component), there is nothing to solve in Phoca Gallery I think
