Captcha problem

Post by iooi »

Hello, I do have the following problem with Phoca Guestbook / Captcha. Whatever I do in the Preferences Captcha always looks like the picture I uploaded as an atatachement here. So in Standard captcha, TTf and even if disabled.
I use joomla 1.5.10, Phoca Guestbook 1.3.2, FTP layer is on, CHMOD of com Phoca guestbook is 755.
I did not get any errors at the installation of the component. Installed it the right way in Joomla with menu install extensions.

Can someone help me out with this problem. Thanks.

Jan,
Thank you for your attantion on my problem. I just figured it out and solved it. The problem occured because I filed in several settings for the guestbook at the (top-)menutitel and at the guestbook component properties as wel. I think this conflicted. I did a new installation of the guestbook and filed in the settings on one place. The guestbook works fine now.

Problem solved, call can be closed.
Thanks again, with kind regards.

Hi there!

I found out, that it is a link problem. When I create an new menu item and link it to phoca guestbook and then activate the phocaguestbook in the component parameters by using standard captcha, it suddenly works. So there must be an false declaration in the database entries.

Best regards,
Manuel
