1. In the case of subscriptions, it is logical that the subscription can be purchased only once for the indicated period. If there is a field for entering the amount, the subscriber can accidentally or intentionally enter a larger amount. Can this be prevented in product settings? (Stock option > Maximum Order Quantity)

2. How to force subscriber to register if you have other products that does not require registration (shop as guest).

3. This is reated to Phoca Particles module. When I enter Phoca Cart product ID (eg. 49) I get following frontend error.

Hi Nidzo,

The "Class 'JRoute' not found" error typically happens because Joomla upgraded to versions where the legacy class JRoute was removed, but an outdated template or module is still trying to use it.

Maybe: Behaviour - Backward Compatibility to enable needed?

2) if you use subscription, there is no option to use guest checkout as subscription can be connected to core Joomla parts and you always need active user

If you can clarify. Is guest checkout disabled by default if the Subscription option is selected for a product or do you think guest checkout must be disabled globally?
If you mean option 1 - I can order as a guest without a problem but I don't have a profile to which I can link the subscription.
If you mean option 2 - there are various scenarios where guest purchasing of other products is desirable but also an option for subscription. For example, buying books and subscribing to some benefits.

Here is the scenario: The customer adds a Subscription to the cart and goes to Checkout. He chooses, accidentally or intentionally, to continue the procedure as a guest.

The plugin monitors whether there is a Subscription in the cart and whether the customer clicked not to log in but clicked the button to continue as a Guest. After clicking the button Continue as Guest the plugin redirects him to the Login page with a notification that there is a Subscription in the cart that requires registration / login.

I'm not a programmer and coding is not my strong suit, but with the help of Vibe coding, debugging and testing, I added the above-mentioned option to the Subscription plugin. I'll send you a zip file by email because it's possible that there might be a different, better way to do it. Maybe it could be included as an option in Phoca Cart core.
