As written in the article, the best way is to have one menu link - the main - to categories view and then if you need to create another - e.g. to category view, just visit the frontend, go from categories view to category view (copy the URL and save it as menu link to absolute URL), so you know the Joomla system always works with the same menu item ID.

Sorry for the late reply, but I'm still experiencing double breadcrumbs. Link.
There are several items/links in the main menu pointing to PD categories, here also.

- although repeated as a label, not a clickable link.
Disable Breadcrumbs (Category View) is "Yes". But I can't see the difference between `Yes` and `No` here.

Just give it a try:
Go to: Module > Breadcrumbs
Here you'll find:
"You are here"
Home
Last
> active: Show or Hide

If "Last: Hide":
- Last: Hide. Result: PD Category view is still shown. OK, but why as a link?
- Last: Hide. Result: The present page (single article) is not indicated. This is expected, but not desired.

If "Last: Show":
- Last: Show. Result: OK (single article)
- Last: Show. Result: PD is doubled, and the link is not needed.

Hi, did you try to leave only one menu link to Phoca Download?

What does one link mean? I'm using PD on several topics - Documents, Budget, etc.
Actually, I need a component to handle PDF (and docx) for preview and download. I have several categories/folders and some subcategories with documents. And at least two main menu items pointing to PD Categories.
I could be done with pure HTML inside articles, but I found PD somehow convenient for this job.
