Hi,
I changed the mailer in my Joomla 6 project from php to smtp. Testmails are working, but nor the checkout-process. If I am finishing the checkout-process I am getting a message: "SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Failed to connect to server". But Joomla itself is connected to the server.
Does somebody has an idea?

Hi, Phoca Cart does not use any own mail solution, it uses Joomla mail feature which can be set in Joomla Globar configuration. So if you set SMTP in Joomla, Phoca Cart then uses this Joomla mail feature.

Hi Jan, thank you for your quick response. I guess, I found the reason: if there is an additional email adress in an order status the error "SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. Failed to connect to server" appears. If there is no additional email adress in an order status it works without error.

What version of Phoca Cart you use?

I have tested now and everything is OK
Can you enable Phoca Cart Log (Options > Main > Enable Logging > ALL) and in Joomla Global Configuration set Debug to YES and Error Reporting to Maximum.
Create order and check what debug says and check Phoca Cart System Log.
