Phoca OG - only name instead of property

Hi all,

I use the Phoca Open Graph Content Plugin 6.0.0 in Joomla 5.4. Even if I set the rendering to Property in Common Options, the sourcecode of the websit is just showing <meta name= instead of <meta property= How is that possible? I have no other conflicting OG plugins, etc. applied in the Website. Is there an issue in the plugin?

Hi, as default Phoca Open Graph uses "property", if it was changed in your options to name, just change it back to property:

I have already done this since the beginning. Even it is set on "property" in the plugin, the sourcecode shows name. Therefore I was asking here. Any idea how to solve it?

Are you really sure such meta tags renders on your site are rendered by Phoca Open Graph plugin?

1) check if they are rendered by Phoca Open Graph CONTENT plugin or Phoca Open Graph SYSTEM plugin, see options of both
2) check if they are not rendered by other plugin installed on your system.

I have done that already. The Phoca Open Graph SYSTEM plugin has been deactivated and there is no other plugin installed.

If you have only one plugin and you are sure, the options are correctly set to property and it still displays "name", try to check if your site does not use some cache feature, etc.

How can I check that within Joomla?

Just see if cache is enabled in Joomla or check if some external cache extension is not installed.

Testing now on different Joomla 6 servers, the behaviour is still the same, the property is displayed:

Hi Jan, how and where can I check this? I have Joomla 5.4 installed. The cache is of course enabled. What do you mean with "some external cache extension"?

Hi again, still not working. Beside the cache topic, what might be another reason for this behavior? Thanks in advance for solving it.
