Files are fine in the PhocaDownload server folder ie: if downloaded via ftp - they are fine.
When users log into Joomla and download same file using PhocaDownload, the downloaded file has a carriage return at the header of the zip which then corrupts the file. If that CR is removed using "notepad", then the file is again fine.
I have seen posts about corruption related to PhocaDownload, and the answer has been "Phoca doesn't touch the file - check PHP settings". We have increased the PHP settings with no change to the issue.
At some point, the later PhocaDownload was system advised...which was installed. Then, when this issue cropped up, we downgraded to 4.09 for a Joomla4 (with latest 4 updates) system. Same issue.
Thoughts?
PhocaDownload may be adding <CR> to zips downloaded

Re: PhocaDownload may be adding <CR> to zips downloaded
Hi, there can be a lot of possible problems. For example, there is some error on the server which will be rendered and something stays when sending the file from server to the user.
Try to log errors and see the log if there is no error rendered when downloading the file, etc.
