Shipping Rules

Hi. I have created 3 shipping methods.
The first method has a quantity rule, a country rule (though it is redundant as we will ship only internally) and a region rule. In the region rule I have created 2 additional regions in order to cover smaller tarrifs areas.
The first method has the same quantity rule, the country rule and a region rule (including the remaining regions of the country).
The third method has a quantity rule (greater than the maximum quantity of the other two rules) and the country rule, with zero cost.
The problem is that, though I have Automatic Shipping Method Setting to "YES", when I chose region other then those of method 1 or quantity that meets the criteria of method 3, neither method 2 nor method 3 are selected automatically (as they should), but they appear as the only choise accordingly with the radio button having to be selected. In the contrary, when method 1 criteria are met, then there is no radio button as it is actually automatically selected.

Apart from the above, I cannot stop the description/title of the shipping method from desplaying in checkout, though in the Checkout View I have set Display Shipping Description to "NO".

I would appreciate your help to resolve these 2 issues.

Hi,
Automatic Shipping Method Setting to "YES" is used when the shop has only one shipping method. If you have more, this parameter should be disabled and you need to be care that all shipping methods have clear rules which e.g. not collide each other.

Testing now the shipping description. Everything is OK for me. Which version of Phoca Cart do you run? Do you use some template override feature?

Hi Jan. Thank yoy for your answers.
Regarding Automatic Shipping Method, I now understood how it works, however it is better from UX perspective to automatically select the shipping method if there is no alternative based on the rules - as there is no point for the customer to select the only available method. So probably this would be an improvement feature to examine for future release.
Regarding the shipping description, I use the 5.0.2. Phoca cart version with 5.3.0 Joomla and I do not use any override, just a joomlart T4 template.
