Download button no longer works

I wonder if somebody can help me solving this problem. When I press the download button in the category view screen, the page freezes. I have checked everywhere but I cannot find a solution:

Hi,
Yes, I have an idea about that. According to your Phoca Gallery manifest file, you are using an outdated Phoca Gallery for J4 version in a current J5. So I would first update Phoca Gallery to the current version for J5.
If this does not have the desired effect, switch the Joomla! error reporting to maximum and activate the Joomla! debug mode. With a bit of luck you will get an error message (call stack), which you can then post here.

Hi Benno,

Thank you so much for your kindness taking time trying to help me. I tried to install the new version of Phoca Gallery J5 (v5.0.3) via the extension install menu, but it gave me an error message saying:

JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Duplicate column name 'image_id'
Extension installation stopped.

Is there an easy fix for this error? I probably did something wrong sometime ago. I do not have much knowledge and experience of SQL.

Hi, it depends on if you need the data you have there. If not you can try to completely clean the installation and install it again (so it will not end with problems when new installation cannot be done because of old database structure)

Hi Benno and Jan,

Thank you again for your advice. I will make a full backup of the complete site and zip all the photo and video files to store these at a save place.

After that I will follow your instructions to uninstall Phoca Gallery completely, if necessary clean out any remnants manually and reinstall the latest version of Phoca Gallery. I guess reinstalling all photo and video files will take me a few hours. This is fine, I must have made an error at some time. If necessary I have a backup of the entire site anyway so there are no risks.

Yes, I could resolve this problem thanks to your advice! Thank you so much. It took a few hours to re-install Phoca-Gallery.
