loop creating thumbails - can't stop

Thank you for the response. I did try disabling the thumbnails generation, and it took a long time to take effect. When it finally did quit redirecting, I would try enabling it again and it would get stuck again. I had my browser cache disabled, for the record.

Having said that, the problem mysteriously disappeared eventually as I waited for my hosting company to have a look. They said they didn't change anything. I guess it is fixed now but I really hope it doesn't happen again!
