Direct Delete Option for Products?

Hello guys

When I list categories, manufacturers, etc. in the admin interface, I have a Delete button, but for products, there is no Delete option—only Trash. When I want to delete products, I have to move them to the trash, then go to the trashed items and delete them from there. This is especially annoying when testing the import functionality and repeatedly importing and deleting products.

I know this is the same for Joomla articles. RegularLabs had a Joomla 3 plugin for this (https://regularlabs.com/bettertrash), but it is no longer being developed.

I was wondering if products could have a direct Delete option as well?

Hi, yes, Phoca Cart follows Joomla pattern, so the item is added to trash first then it can be deleted. This was asked by users. Maybe it will be interesting to make a poll if trash or delete.

Maybe two buttons? Trash and Delete? Or a configuration option to choose if you want to disable the trash function.
Also, there is a bit of inconsistency for me in having a Trash functionality for products but not for categories and others.

Yes, as default there was standard delete functions for all parts, then there was strong community feedback to have the same behaviour like for articles, so the trash function was added to products (as this was the important part).
