In the demo video I noticed that the image of the product changes based on the color choice, I tried to recreate this but for me the image does not change.

I've updated to v5.0.0Beta52 and I do have different images, I've added them to the attributes. Do I need to add them or link them somewhere else as well?

I thought the global setting didn't work but there was another similar named setting, that did it.
It doesn't work well with my Yootheme template but i'll wait for JoomlaPro with their new version.

Re: Changing photo on selecting atribute
Hi all,
I have an issue with the photos based on attributes and i'm not sure, if I'm doing sth wrong.
My installed version of Phoca is 5.0.0 Stable on Joomla 5.2.5.
I thought, I'd answer here so maybe people looking for it in the future will find it better, hope that's okay!
I searched and tried a lot to find out why my product-photos weren't changing based on the attributes. I have activated the "Interactive Change"-Option and also the "Display Attribute Image"-Option.
However the images are only changing according to the attributes when, I turn off the "Display WebP Images"-Option - the .webp-versions of the images exist in the thumbs-directory, so I don't know why this is happening. As soon, as i turn the option on the images stop changing (but are still displayed in the lightbox if I click on them).
Additionally I have the issue, that if I open my product with a selected attribute via URL ([foo]=bar), the image of the product is not changed to the attribute image. The image is just changed if I manually change the attribute back and forth.
Am I doing something wrong or am I missing an option?
Thanks in advance!
And @Jan thanks for your great product!
Kind regards,
Marco

Re: Changing photo on selecting atribute
Hi, can I see the site where this occurs. The changing of image has in fact nothing to do with image format, it just sends the url to the image, so there can be other problem.

Hey Jan,
thanks for your answer.
Since the website I work on is a development-site with htaccess security - I sent you a direct message in the Joomla! Mattermost. I am a newer member here, so I unfortunately cannot use the private message feature here.

Re: Changing photo on selecting atribute
Just for anyone who might be looking for the same questions in the future:
1. The change of the attribute images right now only works without the option 'Display WebP-Images'.
2. If you want to have an attribute-specific image, when you open a link with an attribute (f.e. product#a[color]=red) - you have to use the Advanced Stock Management with its images.
Thanks Jan for your help!
