Piclens : default thumbnails instead of phoca images

Hi Jan

First off all congratulation for your great gallery application

I have a problem with piclens who show the default cooliris images instead of my images

My site is installed with :

Last Joomla version
Last Phoca Gallery

i have enable piclens inside the phoca parameters and created the rss file with one category

When i click on the piclens icon inside this category cooliris start with default images.

Same problem with IE / Firefox

Do i miss something somewhere ?

Hi, see on your server disc if the rss were created, see in Parameters Component if PicLens is enabled
and let me know your site, to see the html code

The piclens RSS file is correctly created inside the image folder category

and after menu J2S / Galerie Photos / Jeux d’Été / 2008 / Golf

Then if i click on the piclens icon coliris open with default thumbnails

Hi, I see a link to images/phocagallery/4.rss file but I cannot get it, try to check if the file is stored on your server and if there are permissions to display data from this file

we (my provider & me ) found the reason!!!

After he set the extension RSS into the MIME-configuration of the "IIS" everything works

sorry for my english - here the original-commentar from my provider in german:


"Habe den Fehler gefunden…es war eigentlich ganz einfach. Im IIS sind sogenannte MimeTypes definiert. Diese sagen, welche Dateiendungen überhaupt verarbeitet werden.

.rss war bis vor 5 Minuten noch nicht enthalten. Das wirkt sich dann eben so aus, dass der Link "/images/phocagallery/4.rss" mit der Fehlermeldung ausgegeben wird "File not found".
