Photo Cart Installation

Hi, I tried to install Phone Cart on my Joomla (4.1.3) but I Failed.

I had this error message returned:
"JInstaller: Intasll: Erroc SQL 42000, 1071, Specified key was too long; max length is 767 bytes
Extension installation aborted.
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_phocacart_v4.0.1.zip

Sounds like I need some help ;-)

Hi, when you enable debug mode and php error reporting, do you get more detailed error message?

I have no experiences with such type of error, so hard to give some clue advice

I also had this error today.

For the record this is something to do with the database, not Joomla or Phoca Cart.

Either the MySQL version needs to be updated on the server and/or the default database configuration needs to be adjusted.

For most of us using shared hosting, etc this means we need to contact the hosting provider support to get this resolved.
