"File type is not supported" error message

I cannot get video uploads to work - I keep getting the error message "File type is not supported". I've tried multiple different videos with MP4 as the file type - different size MP4s - same result.

Any help on this would be appreciated!

Phoca Gallery v4.5.3 on Joomla v4.2.9

p.s. how does one search the forum? I don't see a search option.

Hi, not sure if I understand correctly but you are trying to upload mp4 file to Phoca Gallery? Phoca Gallery is image gallery and you can upload there only images like jpg, png, ...

I did not realize that... I thought I could upload a video and that could be played back when clicked. Ok, well that explains why it didn't work!

In Phoca Gallery, only YouTube videos can be used.
