No link to category ??

After having updated a site to Joomla 4.2.4 and updated Phoca Component and Gallery plugin til version 4.5.2, it is no longer possible to link from an image to a category ?? That was possible in Joomla 3?? Also you now have to add |limitcount=1|max=1 to only show one image in an article. I therefore now have to edit +500 articles !!!???? That is really bad.
In Joomla 3 i only had to insert this: {phocagallery view=category|categoryid=318|imageid=16952|pluginlink=1} which then showed one image fromt the category and the linked the image to the category.

Hi,

Phoca Gallery Plugin for Joomla 4 works differently than Plugin for Joomla 3. In this plugin (J4) you actually just enter ID of category.
Current version is 4.5.3

Yes but then the site breaks ! It is very tedious to have to edit +500 articles ! And also no linking to the catgeory of the image anymore. I think I might change to another gallery then !

Could it not as the least be possible to link the image to the category as one could before ??
