thumb creation, system error 500, tried everything

Hi,

while creating the thumbnails automatically after a while I get error 500 internal server error all the time.
The picutres are fine, just 600px large size 80kb, GD is enabled, phoca newest version has been installed twice, nothing works. Sometimes I can create like 100 thumbs, sometimes just 10. But that is a mess, cause I have about 8.000 pictures in the web. I searched nearly every forum topic to figure out, no way.

Do you have an idea? Thanks from newbie

Hi, try to enable some parameters which can reduce the php and cpu requirements, see:

I figured out the problem: The ftp settings in my Joomla were not correct.
After fixing the ftp problem, everything worked fine.

Hi,
I've had the same problem.
This problem was when I wanted upload big images (>1MB).
I resolved this by preresizing images.
