Can't list anything in the menu

I have reinstalled the site from a backup and updated everything. This time, it worked as previously.

I can only assume that one of the updates to the site corrupted some code somewhere.

Whatever. Thanks for your input and time - it's appreciated, as always.

Incidentally, I'm playing around with the Joomla 4 beta version and installed your new top menu module. Works perfectly, makes life simpler. Thanks for that too.
