Error Saving Guestbook

Do you have the tables in your database:

- #__phocagallery
- #__phocaguestbook_books
- #__phocaguestbook_items

I have the same issue, but on each page of phoca guestbook in de administration console I get:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/ankrido/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysql.php on line 330

And when I try to save the guestbook i get the same error.

And no I dont have the tables in my db

It seems like you don't have created the tables in database, see the database tables

Ok i have now run the install.sql script and changed the # prefix into jos

so have have these tables:
jos__phocaguestbook_books
jos__phocaguestbook_items

But still the same error.

btw i'm running PHP 4.3.10-19

??? For running Joomla! 1.5 and Phoca Guestbook, you need >PHP 4.4.1 but I don't know if this PHP causes the problem ??? So you must try it on PHP 4.4.4 or above...

Just copy the SQL query from install.bak file and run it e.g. in PHPMyAdmin. The install.bak file is stored in Installation ZIP file...

I have fresh install. my database has jos_phocaguestbook_books and jos_phocaguestbook_items

I get no other errors than "errors saving item"

It simply does not save in EITHER front or backend.

I am able to create guestbooks in admin, and again no errors.

My settings for my j1.5.14 install of joomla with 1.3.2 version of Phoca Guestbook are:

Hi, these are global settings parameter. Did you change the parameters in parameter component in menu link to guestbook?

Hello there,

i installed PhocaGuestbook. 1,4,5 using Joomla 1,5.
I created the tables from the install.bak via phpMyAdmin. But still i get the 'Error saving Guestbook' error

How could this be?
I would appriciate any help!
