I'm getting this error when trying to upload a file. Does anyone have an idea of what could be the cause? The temp folder has 777 permissions so I wouldn't think permissions would be the issue.

Hi, I think you need to ask your webhosting provider. The temp directory is not the destination folder but folder on your server where the files is stored and then transfered to the folder you have set in Phoca Download. This temp folder is internal folder on your server (not managed by Joomla! or Phoca Download, this is a place where all uploades are stored temporarirly on your server)
