My guest book has not Captha image

do you have enabled the GD library, did you have changed the method of displaying image in parameters component ?

I have GD library 2.o vesio an d it is enabed. I have changed trhe method of dispiaying an d without any effect. I Haven't the captcha imag\e and the reload pictuire. Displaying of jpg, gifg and pn g picturers is enabled.

I see the text of my last post was full of mistakes. I have my site on free server YoYo.pl. It is a shared server. In php parameters the GD2 library is enabled. My site is based on Joomkla 1.5.6. It has enabled to see jpg , gif and png graphics. I can not to see captcha and icon-reload. I see only places for both pictures with the "X" sign in the middle of it.

I've tried all methods of displaying Captcha but it all was without any effect.

I tried to change the path to captcha in default.php file. I all gives nothing. Now i have guestbook without antispam filter. I don't know how to solve m y problem.

possilbe reasons:
- wrong path
- not working gd
- some error message before rendering the image ... so e.g. there is some notice warning, it is not problem for html site but it can be problem while creating an image, because displaying of image needs to get no errors

But there is no one erro0r message during working with the guestbook. There is no any warning too. How caqn I chech up if the GD library works. In Php desciption it is discribed as enabled.. the path(about row 314) in default.php file seems to be correct.

if gd is enabled, then maybe the problem with path or some error message, try to copy the path to the image and paste it in url bar in your browser, and try to change the paths, mayebe image will be displayed...

i have tried to find the coorect wddress with IE 6. First i've installed Phoca Guestbook on my PC standalone Joomla site. On that site Phoca Guestbook has Captcha filter and it nworks good. The address to the guest book is: /my-site/index.php?option=com_phocaguestbook&view=phocaguestbook&id=1&Itemid=53. Later i have tried to copy all from that PC site to to my web site on the server YoYo.plo. On my YoYo.pl site there wasn't the Captcha filter and reload icon. The guest book had address /my-site/index.php?option=com_phocaguestbook&view=phocaguestbook&id=1&Itemid=33. After changing the last number to 53 in the address of guestbook this was all without Captcha and reload icon. The support of GD library of version 2.0 or higher is set to ON. What can I do than?
