High Jan!

I thing your project needs 3 things: developers, min 1 forum manager, and documentators. As I wrote you in my PM. I'll help you for documentation. Unfortunatly I'm far away from PHP.. So....

ok! Got you... So  "my" feature-request is not realized... It would have been nice that allowed users in the frontend were able to add mutliple phoca categories to upload there their phots. Imagine a sport-club f.e. where you have serveral groups (football, volleyball, badminton) and each group has a volunteer (joomla publisher) feeling responsabel for content and gallerie, without needing an administrator to add a new categorie in phoca. Maybe the weekend they had an event wanting to publish those photos.. Now they need an admin to add the categorie before uploading photos

I too am designing a website for a sports club. I want the content managers of the sports club to create/manage the categories from the front end as well, where user level permissions aren't an obstacle as they are now. Can you please make it easy for users to manage categories from the front end, similar to how I would manage categories from the back end. Thank you.

Hi,
Can you please make it easy for users
mostly the problem is not to make it easy (this can be done easy :-) ), the problem is mostly a security and frentend is not like administration part. An opensource project cannot create a feature which then allows easily to every user manage folders on server and categories in database, etc.

This feature request is still under review, I still working on some features for the frontend (for now it is stopped because of overwriting extensions to 1.6) but a lot of cool features are not implemented because of possible security issues :-( - if you do a site for yourself, it is easy to add a feature but if you do an opensource project, you need to care about security of your software because not all users are advanced users who knows which security issues enabling of some feature can have :(
