{solved} merging two categories.

Hi,

Is it possible to merge two categories in phoca gallery.If yes how to merge them.

Let me tell you in detail.


I created a category and uploaded pictures and created thumbnails and everything was smooth.Simply loved it.The problem came when i decided to add some more images to the same category.After adding when i tried to create thumbnails the thumbnails were created for the new images but then the name images are displayed on the frontend in a separate category.

Hi, sorry I don't understand... how can you add the same images into the same category, then old images with the same names will be overwritten with new images ?

If you want to add new images into some category, just upload the images, in multiple add go to the folder for the category where old and new images are. Click on save and Phoca Gallery automatically add only new images...

E.g. I have created folder and uploaded images:

First-Category
- first.jpg
- second.jpg

I add these images and category into Phoca, then I get Category: First-Category....

If I want to add some new images into this category, I upload images into folder First-Category:
- third.jpg
and click on save in multiple add, then Phoca Gallery will add only new image into category First-Category...

This is very fast. If you want to change images manually, then go to Add and there you can change the category of edited image...
