[Solved] Front-end upload and display

Post by Ignace »

Hello!
Thank you for this excellent gallery !

Please forgive me but my English is not very good...

I have a problem with the upload in front-end: the images display 640x480 in spite of the fact that I settled 800x600 everywhere..

To summarize:
Upload by the back-end with parametres settled on 800x600: OK
Upload by the "user panel" with parametres of the menu in 800x600: OK (but I cannot choose the destination category)
Upload directly on the gallery (maybe I forgot some parametres?): display 640x480 :(
I do not see where to change that ??

Original message in french :
Bonjour !

Thank you !!

Hi, the folder is set for every category (every user) in:
Phoca Gallery - Categories - Edit - User folder (category folder)...

What of size do you have in Parameters Component (in menu manger - menu link to category)

Ok, but I cant choose the category destination when I upload for the front-end (if I am in the menu "PHOCAGALLERY USER CONTROL PANEL LAYOUT"). There is no choice menu.
But if I am in the gallery, in the good category, I cant upload directly in.

800x600 for the large image, and the Viewer too

If I upload for the gallery directly (in the good category), the pictures displaying 640*480
If I upload for the menu "PHOCAGALLERY USER CONTROL PANEL LAYOUT" it's Ok (800*600) but all pictures are going to the root of the user gallery.

Sorry for my poor English

The user control panel is there for user's category...

if you want to upload images into categories and you have permissions to do it, you can upload images in category view... if you have on your site some user management and users which can create own category, then users can use user panel for creating their category and upload an image there or change the name of category and description ...

800x600 ??? it takes the settings from the category link settings...

see the ItemId of site where you upload and then see the menu link settings with this ID

Ok, it's solved.. Thank You a lot !

I haven't seen there was a parameter in every menu link.. Maybe it's a good idea to add a "Global Parameter" for this option ??

Thanks ! :| :|
