Is it possible to move photos from one site to the next?
I currently have photos in version 2.6.2 and would like to move them to version 4.2.1.
Thank you!

Hi,
version 2.6.2 ? We had: 2.8.1. (J 1.5), 3.2.8 (J1.7 & J 2.5) and now actually for J 3.X: 4.2.1
Which Joomla version do you have? is it a migration?

Kind regards, Christine

LOL! Sadly yes, that's the Phoca version that they have.
Joomla 1.5
Phoca 2.6.2
Is it possible to migrate to the current version?

Hi, you can migrate:
from 1.5 to 2.5: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... -joomla-25
and then from 2.5 to 3: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-joomla ... o-joomla-3
but maybe better method is to copy the images include their thumbnails to new server and then in multiple add function add the images to the system (categories will be automatically created folders, subcategories from subfolders and thumbnails from images)

Re: Move Photos From One Site To The Next
All the categories are moved over to the new website. Is there a way to add the images by categories to the website?
When I try adding the them using images > muliti add, the images seem to be going all over the place and creating their new categories.
What I would like it just to upload the category or categories and all the images in that category is uploaded as well.
Thank you!

Hi, this can be done more ways, but not sure which will be the easiest:
- completely from scratch - click multiple add and save - all categories and subcategories will be new - done by folders and subfolders
- or step by step - make the categories in system and then in multiple add select the images and their "new" categories so the images will be set for these categories - but this needs to be done for each category step by step.
