Multiple Add not working correctly

I have FTP some new photos to an Image Gallery.
When I go to Multiple Add, adn click on the folder to see the new images, nothing happens. Some of my folders do open, but not all. I can't see a reason (eg. bad file in the gallery)
Has anyone else experienced this? And got a solution?

Hi lonetour, do you have enabled the ftp layer? (in global configuration)

which are the permissions of your uploaded images (maybe they cannot be read by joomla!). Can you see the images in media manager ?

hmm.... globals - ftp layer on....permissions are the same as all the other photos in the same folder....

BUT... in media manager, when I try to open the problem folder, it fails, and jumps back to the Meida folder. This only happens with some folders, not all of them..... so no, I can't see the images in Media Manager, but the original images can be seen on the website.....

??? try to recreate the problem folders and images, maybe there is some problem with permissions ? or ownership ?
