Thumb pictures remain void in categories views

I am using last version of Phoca Gallery with Phoca Gallery tree extension on a local site using also last version of Joomla for contructing the site before migration.

Until all thumbs had been created I was seeing some thumbs (those already created). After having created all the thumbs (I can see them (l;m;s ones) on my PC in Image/Gallery/catergory/sub-category), no one does appear anymore. I have instead the white square with the red circle), no photo apperas on overlib nor when starting the diaporama.

What did I do wrong?

check if 'Thumbnails Generation' is enabled in Phoca Gallery Options.

Thumbnails Generation is enabled, they had been created ( I could see the thumbnails in the PC when I wrote the first message). Strangely enough, they do not exist now anymore in the PC except for one sub-category in which actually one thumbnail is missing.

I tried to (re)generated it as well as all those of an other category, it said mesage: "thumbnails regenerated " both times but when I go and see in the PC they are not there and of course not visible either on the site.

Why did they disapeared and why do they not regenerate normally?

I have a lot of photos to load and of course wait until I can clear this to go further into my site construction.

Hi, check the permissions and ownership on your server, if there is no problem with writing thumbnails on the disc?
