category shown for registred use while not logged in

Hi,

I have an issue with an category.
One of my categories contains only subcategories which are partitial viewable public and partitial viewalbe only by registered users.

Always when I have two or more subcategories for only registered users an destroyed pochagallery-box-file construct shows up (it shows the name of the categorie - does not show an thumbnail - on click shows the picture preview with no pictures). The gallery is configured to not show unaccessible categories.
( I am on 2.0.0 - and have now upgraded to 2.0.2 but nothing changed)

what could be the issue - and how to resolve?

this is an image and some wrong Path to the image, see the URL to this image (maybe it is not correctly displayed on your site )

this is the image of the category:

if I query my database there is no image in the category 189 (shown there).
It contains only subcategories. Therefor the information from you might not be correct.

If I check the html source I cannot find this path you mention.../hmayer_net_dev/./images/phocagallery/2007070820070804UrlaubSommer2007/Ueberflug%20London/thumbs/phoca_thumb_m_PICT1444.JPG

this image is part of one of the subcategories which is visible public.
what you mention as last image - could not be an image because its not in the phoca gallery path - instead its a folder of images from my template I use in joomla.
the name of this indicates to me thats an categorie - because this categorie has one subcategorie called postcards (but only visible to registered uses).

IF I check the database filenames there exists and OICT1444.JPG - but it is part of the subcategory 196 which is an subcategory for category 189

the structure is - maybe its because of the structure?

Hi, there is something wrong... the postkarten is displayed as an "image" (link to image) it contains zoom icon and download icon, you can display the detail of this "image" too... the thumbnail for this image was not created, so "no image" icon is displayed in detail window ... but why ? ... it doesn't have any ID (no image) so I don't have any idea why this is displayed as image ??? Try to delete the category and create new

Hi,

I guess I figured it out - try to reporduce (on Version 2.0.2).

Create Category Test with access level "public"
Create Category Test1 with parent Category Test with access level "public"
Create Category Test2 with parent Category Test with access level "registered"

If category Test2 is the last one I get this broken Image link. If I move Category Test1 behind Category Test2 it is shown correct.

Maybe this helps you to reproduce my issue - and helps fixing it.

My configuration "Category View Settings (Category List)" is
Display Subcategories "No"
Display Empty Categories "Yes"
Display Unacessible Categories "No"

Hi, I have simulate it and got no errors:

Galleries A, B, C

A - category, public
B - subcategory of A, public
C - subcategory of A, registered

Display Subcategories "No"
Display Empty Categories "Yes"
Display Unacessible Categories "No"

After this settings only A will be displayed in the CATEGORIES VIEW, If I click on A then I can see:
Back Button, Category B folder and images from A category ... no errors there
