Incorrect comment-links with jcomments

Hello Jan,

100€ donation for the solution of my problems.

I have installed Phoca Gallery and jComment (latest version). jCommenst works fine on all websites. But in the view of the Phoca category are set incorrect links to the comments

The problem can be seen for example in the following link: http://handwerkercheck.ch/index.php/reisen/malaysia
Here the Phoca categorylink "malaysia" is displayed. If you click on the comment link (http://handwerkercheck.ch/index.php/rei ... #comment-1) the same page opens but in wrong category „australien (See title and breadcrumbs). The problem is with all Phoca categories and always with the wrong categrory "australien". Where always comes the category „australien“?

I suspect the problem is because I have set a Joomla mainpage as parent of Phoca category and not a Phoca categories page. In this way jComments probably can not the correct comment-link add in the table.

I would be really grateful if we could solve the problem...

Hi, which version of Phoca Gallery you are running? There were some plugins for Phoca Gallery and JComments in the past, but not sure if there are some updated

Hello Jan, thanks for your answer.

The versions are:
Joomla 3.4.1
Phoca Gallery 4.1.2
jcomment 3.0.5

The problem I had, however, already found on older versions. I suspect the problem is in the com_phocagallery.plugin.php in the folder plugins of jcomments. I have already asked for joomlatune but because you get no answer.

What can we do?

Hi, I think, the plugins need to be updated but for now no clue advice as I didn't do such update yet

I do not understand your not post. Why you can't update the com_phocagallery.plugin.php?

There is perhaps an alternative? Maybe you can easier jcommnet with the tags {jcomments on} and {jcomments off} integrated into in Phoca Gallery, without plugins?

what do you think about?

Hi, I cannot update the plugins for JComments becasue of time issues - first I need to fix all issues which caused by newest Joomla! versions (there are over 1000 issues which are wating for now), see:

So the huge problem is, to make the hundred of thousands lines of code still updated and fit to newest Joomla!. Yes, of course if there will be time, I will do all to take a look at it but for now because of time issues I cannot say when I will find time to look at it

Ich habe folgende Lösung für das korrekte Tracking der Kategorie-Kommentarlinks. Einfach folgende Dateien durch die hier angehängten Dateien ersetzen.

Leider funktionieren damit die Bildkommentare sowie das "Jcomment Latest Modul" noch immer nicht. Für meinen Bedarf benötige ich dieses aber zur Zeit nicht. Vielleicht hast Du ja irgendwann eine umfassende Lösung für die korrekte Integration von Jcomment.

Lieber Jan, bezüglich Deinem "Huge Problem" kann ich Dir einfach sagen dass Du hier einen sehr guten Job machst. Eine kleine Kritik sei aber erlaubt. Weniger ist mehr. Wenn ich Dein grosses Angebot an Scripts anschaue ist mir klar dass das alleine nicht zu schaffen ist. Joomla 4 wird kommen bevor Du mit der Anpassung für Joomla 3 fertig bist. PHP 6 steht auch vor der Tür, Dein Forum wird dauernd gehackt und immer mehr Features Deiner Applikationen machen Probleme. Meine Empfehlung an Dich: Räume auf, schmeiss alles raus was Probleme macht, konzentriere Dich auf das Wesentliche und mach das dafür Perfekt. Verlange etwas Geld für Deine tolle Arbeit damit wir alle auch in Zukunft von Deinen Apps profitieren können. Weniger ist mehr.

Ja mit dem Forum mache ich leider nichts, es ist gespammt wie andere Foren. Es ist sehr hart sich gegen "human spammers" verteidigen, da hilft leider nicht, was bei Robots hilft.

Mit den Erweiterungen ist es auch komplizierter als wie es scheint:

Z.B. bei Phoca Gallery 4 habe ich viele Parameters von Optionen beseitigt und mit modernen CSS ersetzt, was aber für viele Benutzer Problem was, so habe ich die Parameters, die sehr alt und "obsolete" sind, wieder eingegeben. So manchmal ist das Moderne nicht gesucht

Ja, wegen Zeitmangel, muss ich mich auf die primäre Funktionen konzentrieren und z.B. bei Jcomments braucht man viel Zeit zu studieren (externe Erweiterung), so dies muss leider jemand anderer machen (oder warten bis ich Zeit finde).

Für mich is wesentlich, dass die Komponente arbeitet - das ist das wichtigste, dann komment Modules und Plugins und dann leider die externen Tools, so ist es leider.

Und Programmieren ist immer mein Hobby, nicht Arbeit - wenn es Arbeit wird, dann werden nicht so viele Erweiterungen entstehen. Ja, weniger ist mehr, aber was weniger. Es ist wirklich sehr schwer sagen: das werde ich nicht mehr machen, das ja, das auch nicht, usw. Z.B. wenn iche momentan auf Phoca Cart arbeite, heisst es nicht, das ich nich mehr Phoca Galery unterstützen kann - es funktionert in Joomla! 3 so warum es nicht unterstützen. Ja, die Modules und Plugins haben nicht die gleiche Priorität wie Komponenten, so vielleicht ist eigentlich das, was du geschrieben hast: "konzentriere dich auf das Wesentliche" und das "wesentliche" is momentan die Funktionalität von Komponenten - die Hauptfunktionen

Aber, ja, wie du geschrieben hast: Joomla 4, PHP 6 usw. - da werden leider viele Erwreiterungen nicht mehr entwickelt und unterstützt
